Jonathan Zilli is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant with an extensive track record in business development crossing over a broad spectrum of industries and markets around the world.
Currently based in Simi Valley, California, Jonathan has been an investor in start-ups as well as consultant for start-up companies as well as established companies since 2001. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur Jonathan ran the International Licensing & Merchandising division at Paramount Pictures for many years. While with Paramount he launched the theme restaurant business for the studio. He and his team created and developed the Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant Company concept which generated over $350 million in revenue last year from 56 locations worldwide. Jonathan continues to provide advisory services to start-up restaurant entrepreneurs in addition to restaurant operators looking to expand through franchising and or licensing in the US and markets outside the US.
Jonathan was born and raised in South America and has traveled across the world for business purposes in major markets in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and North America. He attended the University of San Francisco, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and Economics in 1981. He was an active rower and is currently a board member of the UCLA Men's Rowing team
